Bible Study
“Sacred Scripture, the word of God written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, has the preeminent position in the life of the Catholic Church and especially in the ministry of evangelization and catechesis.” (National Directory of Catechesis, p. 70)
As Catholics, we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit who enlightens us about the truth of scripture and how to apply it in our daily life. Reading and studying the Bible is a discipline of the Christian faith. It enables us to grow in faith and pursue perfection through the power of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge and wisdom of God renews and strengthens us to live a better Christian life.
