Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is an international Catholic organization of lay apostolate of men and women who sanctify themselves through prayer and apostolic work in union with the Blessed Virgin Mary. It originated in Dublin, Ireland for the purpose of making its members better Catholics, to mobilize the Catholic laity, and to raise the spiritual level of the entire community through evangelization of every member of the Mystical Body of Christ.
The unit of the Legion of Mary is called a praesidium, which holds a weekly meeting involving the recitation of the Rosary, spiritual reading, a short reflection talk, a discussion of Catholic doctrine and devotion, and an evaluation of the apostolate work.
At St. Charles Parish, there are two (2) praesidiums, namely:
- Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Praesidium

Treasurer: Paz Cayetano - Weekly meeting is on Wednesday at Room 13 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
- The Virgin Gentle in Mercy Praesidium
President: Nida Gaspar
Vice-President: Josie Jackson
Secretary: Carmen Burgos
Treasurer: Patty Garcia Assistant Treasurer: Alice Santos - Weekly meeting is on Friday at Room 14 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
