Dear Friends of Saint Charles Caritas, Charity on the Border:

 Greetings to all! I hope you had a great 3 day weekend!

 The bagging of food is rescheduled. The May 31st previous announcement for the bagging is canceled. Here is the new schedule:

 June 14, Saturday at 9:30am outside the garage of St. Charles Church is Project# 13, Bagging of Food for 250 poor families (approximately 1200 people). The people in the dump site as some of you had visited the place, the families reside in a shack houses made of pallets, scrap materials, tires on top and on a dirt floor, and no running water. These are the people who are the poorest of the poor. We need volunteers, bars of soap, shampoos, toiletries, baby food and candies for the children. We also need your pick up trucks to transport the food from Costco to Saint Charles garage.

  June 14  & 15  (Saturday & Sunday) is Saint Charles Caritas Day. 100% of your donations will be used to buy basic food and cleaning products. We are all volunteers, no overhead costs and no administrative layers.

 Costco buy of food is to be announced

 Distribution of Food in the TJ dump site for Project# 13 is also to be announced.
